Psalm 67:5-6 – Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us

Praise enables the earth to produce more? Isn’t this interesting? That the earth has ears and can feel when we praise and it responds to our praise? How is this possible? When we praise God from our soul, He commands our earth to yield her increase. What does our earth represent?

Then God blesses us as we praise him. Why does God respond to our praises? Is he short on emotions and needs to be lifted up through praise?

When we praise God from the depth of our heart, we build Him a dwelling place in our lives and activate His dominion and presence. And in His presence, the sea disappears; the mountains skip like rams and the little hills like lambs. When God appears, darkness disappears, when He is present, the earth trembles. We cannot praise God without getting His power engaged. When God’s power gets involved, the impossible becomes possible.

Lord of heaven we praise and worship you, we honour you for being such a good father. You are an awesome God, one who cares about little people like us a small African country called Kenya. God we are honoured for having a God like you, who knows no class, colour , religion, gender or any other physical thing people look at. You are an amazing Father, who loves us even though we are unlovable. You call us your own, even when we were so far away from your presence. What a mighty God we serve? One like no other, one that indwells in us, yet so great to have created this whole universe that we cannot understand. A God that is the great I am, yet one that came down and became a man like us. That is our our God!!!! And for that we bless Him and honour Him.

We are called to praise and worship God, and We will do that, no matter what. We will not depend on our feelings because our feelings change. But the Word of God remains the same. We declare our love to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Henceforth, we will continuously declare our praise by words and by action. We chose praise over worry and complaining. Through our praise, we receive strength, wisdom, and divine direction for any situation in our life right now. We declare that the joy of the Lord is my strength.

  • February 3 Reflections

    Acts 16:23-26

    New King James Version

23 And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely. 24 Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.

    The Philippian Jailer Saved

25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 (A)Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately (B)all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

We all find ourselves in a kind of prison in our lives, a place of defeat, a place of  restriction and utter defeat. Where we cannot do what we want to do, and it can be easy for us to despair and give up. But Paul and Silas choose a different way of looking at their circumstances. They choose to praise God despite and irrespective of their circumstances. Their lives were not defined by the external circumstances, rather their inside was so full of the one who was in them, such that it did not matter where they were. There was an overflow of the spirit from their hearts.

Lord this morning, we submit our hearts to you and want to praise and worship you. We praise you our father despite the sickness On our bodies. We praise you in the midst of luck in material things Lord. We praise you Holy Spirit despite our loved ones not following you…,we praise you as we celebrate the fact that you are the one who calls your people to yourself and you will draw men to yourself.

Lord we praise and worship you on behalf of our nation. Lord we choose to see the great things you are doing in that nation and to shout that you are the God of Kenya!!! You are the great I AM of this nation and despite what we see in our physical eyes we choose to bless your name for this great land that we all call home. You are being exalted and lifted up

In every corner of this nation and Lord we welcome you to reign in this country.

    “You(A) are worthy, [a]O Lord,
    To receive glory and honor and power;
    (B)For You created all things,
And by (C)Your will they [b]exist and were created.”

In this midnight hour in our nation, we give a shout of praise to our king! We join the whole of heaven as they all bow down to you. We draw near to the throne and join the 24 elders, the cherubims and seraphim’s, as they bow down in worship. We declare holy! Holy! Holy! Is our God! There is none like Him! Him alone we will worship this day! Hallelujah to the most high God!!! Hallelujah!!! Hallelujah!!!!

  • February 2 2022 Reflections

Ephesians 6: 12-13 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand

What God has called us into into is Spiritual warfare, which cannot be won by our intelligence, or money or demonstrations or good arguments or education or any of the physical things we understand.

Thankfully, God has given us weapons to carry out warfare against the evil forces of darkness. It doesn’t matter the depth of the battle we face; we have been equipped to win.

Intense, heartfelt, persistent praise is one of  the weapons that win our battles without our efforts. When genuine, heartfelt praise, goes up, fearful things must happen.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ – 2 Cor. 10:3-5

Through praise, the battles in our lives, cease to be ours and become God’s.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord. – Psalm 149:6-9

When God goes to war on our behalf, the enemies  will destroy themselves.

Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding – Psalm 47:6-7

Lord we continue to lift our praises to you, as you are our king, and the only one that we will bow down to this day.

  • February a Month of Praise , Worship and Thanksgiving

    February 1/2/2022 reflections

Welcome to first of February,  2022 Hallelujah!!!!!!Lord we are truly grateful for this new month. It is by your mercies and grace we have come this  far. We bow down in your presence this morning and say Thank you Lord! Thank you ! Thank you! Our hearts are truly grateful 😇 for you aline has brought us this far… nothing we have done, no credit to any one us, except your grace. Thank you Father, thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit. We as your children say thank you our daddy for being with us!

As earlier said, this is the month to

Praise, worship and thank God. We have done very well as we repented for ourselves, our families, communities and nations in January .God honours and hears our repentance.

Our next tool to scatter the plans of the enemy will be concentrated praise, worship and thanksgiving.

This month, we will forget we have any personal needs and just focus on lifting our God up. Let anything and everything that comes from us be worship, praise snd thanksgiving. Even in our needs , we will say Lord, thank you for allowing me to go through this cup, I choose to lift your name up, as I know all things work for good to they that love you. I thank you Lord for in everything and in ALL things, I choose to worship you. No demon on earth shall remove me from this place of worship to my God, my saviour and redeemer. Thank you Lord for you are perfecting all things that concern me. Thank you that you are making me a worshipper, whose eyes are focused on you alone and the work accomplished at the cross. I am really grateful Lord for salvation, for your acceptance of me into your kingdom and for what you are doing especially in our country and in our young people. It is glorious in your sight as you lift our youths to Lead the youths of the world to worship you, you are making us a nation of worshippers and we rejoice in that.

I Pray Jehovah that you fill all of us this day with extraordinary zeal to dwell in praise from this day onwards. May all complaining , murmurings and grumbling cease now in Jesus name! We receive peace, and joy of the Lord this day as we genuinely lift up the spirit  of praise to our God  , as we continue to love You and to worship you with all our bodies, souls and spirits! Lord open our mouths wide to worship you! Open our vocal cords to shout in praise!!!!! lighten our hands to go up in praise, allow our knees to bow down to you as we engage in this season of praise! Thank you Lord!!!!!

O Lord, baptise us with the power to praise, in Jesus name.Lord we rebuke and cancel every activity projected to distract us from praise, joy, and thanksgiving. May all that is within us arise and praise God like never before.

This month, on the altar of praise, we are winning every battle before us. We are receiving the manifestation of our prayer requests, breakthrough, and healing, in Jesus name.

    Psalms 8:1-9 NIV

LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

  • Psalms 145-A Praise of David.

    I will [a]extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
    Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
    And His greatness is [b]unsearchable.

One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.
[c]I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty,
    And [d]on Your wondrous works.
Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts,
And I will declare Your greatness.
They shall [e]utter the memory of Your great goodness,
And shall sing of Your righteousness.

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion,
Slow to anger and great in mercy.
The Lord is good to all,
And His tender mercies are over all His works.

10 All Your works shall praise You, O Lord,
And Your saints shall bless You.
11 They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom,
    And talk of Your power,
12 To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts,
And the glorious majesty of His kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all [f]generations.

14 The Lord upholds all who fall,
And raises up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all look expectantly to You,
And You give them their food in due season.
    16 You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.

17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
    Gracious in all His works.
18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
    19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.
20 The Lord preserves all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord,
And all flesh shall bless His holy name
    Forever and ever.

  • Welcome to our blog

    Kenya Prayer blog Rules

    * We are a prayer Group committed to Praying for Kenya in 2022
    * We are not a political group, and so we DO NOT comment on political parties
    * We pray for ALL our leaders, both in the Government and Politians
    *  We Not to post ant pro or against political comments
    * We are a multi ethinic group, so let us be sensitive to each other
    * This is intercessory prayer, which calls for deep personal cleansing, and a desire to walk right with God. It can open spiritual warfare, especially if the enemy finds an entrance to get in through. So let’s check on ourselves and ask the Holy Spirit if we are ready to engage in the war.
    – A call to pray for Kenya for 2022 Our Nation needs prayers more than ever before and as people of Christian faith, we can only do what we know what to do. PRAY & PRAY & PRAY. Let’s us all join together and petition heaven to: -Forgive us for our unending rivalry and self-glorification at the expenses of our brothers and sisters;-Seek to renounce all the spirits of division that are planted by our enemy every few years especially close to elections; -Agree with heaven that Kenya is marked for greatness; -Kenya is a chosen nation that lives and honours God. Kenya is a country that shall bow to no other than Jehovah God;- Let’s pray for the deep , deep love of God to flow across the land, so we walk in unity and refuse every division and hatred which is not our portion.; – Pray for divine covering for all our leaders and our people as they Criss cross the nation during these times of elections; -Pray for God anointed leaders, people who will lead Kenya into higher levels.-Mathew 18: 19- “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. As we reclaim the nation of Kenya for God’s divine purpose, we do this with authority given to us from God through the name of Jesus; we need to literary take God at His word- obedience and unshakable faith are crucial, repentance is crucial, denouncing the territorial and ancestral spirits of greed, pride, stubbornness, disregard for law and authority, tribalism and division etc. Bringing down all principalities and powers that have been exalted above the name of Jesus- witchcraft, seasonality, and locality strongman etc.Let’s submit ourselves to God the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit in humility and in deep repentance.

Circulate this to people who love prayer and are committed to spend time on behalf of our nation.

We meet once a week on Thursdays and if you would like to join us in prayer, you can contact me in my email which is loicewahu@gmail.com. Because we are from all over the world, we have choosen a time that suits most of the continents.
We started in January 2022 and spent the month repenting for ourselves, our families, our communities and nation. To finish the month, we had three days of prayers and fasting and during that time, the Lord specifically spoke to us a few things as follows
    1. He showed one of us a vision of a very loaded ox, which could not move due to heavy burdens. The ox went down and slept and could not move. A hand came from somewhere and offloaded the load and the ox was able to rise and continue with the journey. We took this to be an encouragement that The Lord was hearing our prayers for Kenya and was offloading all the burdens the enemy has put on this nation.
    2. One of us dreamt a revival for young people taking place and we are believing God for this….
    3. The Lord told us.. kneeling down is a sign of humility…
There were many things that the Lord told us and we are still discussing and musing on these.
Month of February we are focused on worship, praise and thanksgiving!!!!  Join us to worship the Lord with us and we lift Him higher and higher!!!!!
