Lord your greatness is unsearchable, it is beyond our comprehension and for that we bow down and worship you. You are beyond measure our redeemer, great is your faithfulness, who is like our God?? None, He is the only God!!!
Lord we declare you have rescued us time and another… your hand has been on this nation despite our foolishness and arrogance… and we worship you Lord for you have not paid us according to our sins, but according to your mercies. Lord we want to declare of your power and majesty… as the Israelites told their children of deliverance from Egypt, give us our stories to pass to our children, how you have delivered us and carried us under your wings… even during very trying times, you have been faithful.. even when we have thought the end has come, you have always rescued us in a supernatural way… Lord we don’t take this for granted and we say thank you for all the deliverances you have accorded Kenya. Thank you Lord ! Thank you Lord!! Thank you Lord!!!
Lord we have fallen time and again, forgive us and we say thank you for not giving up on this nation. You have been so kind and patient with us and we thank you and bless your Holy name!
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.
Lord we call upon you in truth to give us the right leaders for this nation. Not according to what we want, but in your wisdom and insight, give us those that are right for us. Help us to see what Heaven sees, so that we can actualise that which is in heaven. We see only in part but you know it all, so Lord Jesus, give us your eyes and sight, so as your people we can call forth your kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.

• Each soldier must follow the General orders of His boss-in this case God.
• A soldier of Christ must:

• petition, pray, intercede, and give thanks for all men. ( 1 Ti 2:1)
• Submit to authority and obey. (1 Sam 15:22, Jer 3:15 ,Jas 4:7)-To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.,  Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
• Put on the whole armor of God. (Eph 6:11 & 13)
• Take up the sword of the Spirit. (Eph 6:17)-word of God
• Do all and stand. Conquer and stand ready to conquer again. (Eph 6:13)
• Pray in the Spirit on all occasions and be alert. (Eph 6:18 and 1Pet 5:8)
• Resist the devil. ( Jas 4:7) -and He will flee from us
• Stand in the gap. (Eze 22:30)
• Keep himself free of sin so the Lord will hear him. (Ps 66:18)-If I had cherished sin in my heart,the Lord would not have listened
• praise the Lord continually. (Ps 34:1)-I will extol the Lord at all times;

  His praise will always be on my lips.

• Destroy the works of the devil and heal.(Acts 10:38 , 1 Jn 3:8b, and Jn 14:12-14)- Acts 10:38– how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.1John 3:b..The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. John 14:14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
• Be alert to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Leviticus 6:12-13

THE FIRE ON THE ALTAR MUST BE KEPT BURNING; IT MUST NOT GO OUT. EVERY MORNING THE PRIEST IS TO ADD FIREWOOD AND ARRANGE THE BURNT OFFERING ON THE FIRE AND BURN THE FAT OF THE FELLOWSHIP OFFERINGS ON IT. 13 THE FIRE MUST BE KEPT BURNING ON THE ALTAR CONTINUOUSLY; IT MUST NOT GO OUT…

Unlike the fire on the altar, which was a picture of the presence of God, the Holy Spirit is the supernatural presence of God, which forever marks one as God’s own possession. And that marking must never be allowed to die for God has purchased you as his own. Give the Spirit fuel to work with in your life. Feed the Spirit, instead of quenching it.

1. Let the Spirit bring conviction of sin, that is fuel.
   2.Let the Spirit bring words of instruction and guidance. The Spirit is alive. He is still speaking to us today. It is one of his main jobs in our life. In the Exodus story God appears to Moses to give him direction from a burning bush. Next the fire of the Spirit appears as a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night in which the people of God are given a guiding light in order to lighten a darkened world. And as the Egyptian Army is about to be destroyed, we are told that the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion (Exo. 14:24). One gets the sense that the pillar of fire is the abode of God from which protection and direction comes to the people of God.

3.Listen to the words of the Spirit and put them into practice; that too is part of keeping the Fire burning.

4.God’s people are to keep the fire of the Spirit fueled by a constant study of the Word of God applied to every area of life
5.Unceasing life of prayer for ourselves and others

6.An evangelistic heart preaching the gospel message to the world – this is the wood that is to be fuel on the fire morning and evening. This is how the Spirit will grow the fire of his presence in our lives each day!

7.As a people of God we are called to come before the altar of our God in penitent worship and joyous sacrifice.

8.We must never fail to render to God what is his due – all praise, honor and glory. We must offer sacrifices of praise, the fruit of lips that confess his name.

9.We must confess our sins and receive his freely given pardon in Christ.

10.We must read his Word and feed the Spirit’s fire in our hearts so that our minds are purified and renewed.

11.We must love one another, pray for one another and good deeds.

We must not grieve the spirit, as one throws water on a fire, but instead must submit to the leadings and prompting that the Word of God and his Spirit place upon our hearts. We must feed the fire of devotion by the corporate and private practice of living in God’s kingdom. For when one person lights a fire, it can grow large, but when the whole town turns out to stoke the coals and pour forth fuel, then a bonfire results which burns with intensity and both warms all those in its presence as well as serving as a light to this dark world showing where the love of God is to be found. So stoke the fire with prayers, scripture study, song and deeds. This is what it means not to quench the Spirit but to keep the fire burning continuously on the altar.

It is God who kindles the fire and it is he who carries it to completion. It is God who is both the one fueling our lives and it is his Son, Jesus, who is the final offering. God is our guide and the one who restores our souls. Without God there could be no fulfilling of the command, “The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously, it must not go out.”

“Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19

Amos 3:7: “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”

Prayer is like a symphony, each person plays their part, but they all must be in harmony and produce a sweet melody.

Each person plays their role, until the place is full of prayer and the answer is realised. There is no single person assignment in prayer, we are all part of a bigger whole.

In the prayer of agreement, many are involved, but we all need to pray like no one else is praying.

We have been called to pray for a nation.

We have been given by the Lord the strategy to use.

We must stick to the strategy without looking to the left or the right. Our eyes must be focused on the call that we have been assigned.

The enemy will want to keep us busy with other important matters. But let us remind him.. Enemy, we know our assignment and you will not distract us with other issues. Satan will bring whatever he wants to bring, but let us all remind him, that we know who has called us and are persuaded, He is well able to see us to the end.

Rev 12:11

And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.

Let our testimony be that we are more than overcomers through the blood of Jesus Christ.

We shall see this nation delivered from the grip of the enemy in Jesus name!!!

Isaiah 54;17

Clean heart principle continued by Jane Wairua

May God create in me a clean heart. To be humble and dependent on Him. To walk in His ways, to be fruitful. To change me to be like Him, to be a man/woman after His own heart, 1 Samuel 13:4
My life to be in harmony with the Lord
What is important to Him is important to me
What burdens Him burdens me
When He says go the right, I go to the right
When He says stop that in your life, I stop
When He says this is wrong and I want you to change I come to terms with it because I have a heart for God!
To be deeply sensitive to spiritual things, 2 Chronicles 16:9
God is looking for men/women whose hearts are His – completely, no hidden/locked closets/nothing swept under the rugs
I do wrong, I admit, come to terms with it, I repent it
I long to please Him in all my actions, I deeply care about the motivation behind my actions
God is looking for deeply spiritual, genuinely humble, honest-to-the-core servants who have integrity
May God help me.

 

1.The first step in praying Davidic prayer, “Create in me a clean heart, O God” (Psalm 51:10), is simply to realize that we need to pray it. Lord, I say Yes!!!! to you coming in and dealing with those things that stop me having a complete control of my life. I am all yours Lord, take me and mould me into a vessel that you will use for your own Glory. Lord, have mercy on me as you mould me, heal those deep areas that are so hurting.

2.The second step in asking God to create a clean heart in us is letting Him deal with what needs changing. We must surrender ALL to Jesus and be willing to repent of anything that He brings to our focus. Some things are so subtle, we may not realise, they are a sin, for example, our attitudes to certain people, love of wealth, worship of people and those that we perceive have made it, rejoicing at the challenges of others inwardly, envy, name it! May the Holy Spirit bring these things to light, and we be willing to say, Lord I am so sorry, I repent, I renounce and I turn around. No more entertaining these sins in my life!!! I will not be an enabler for satan in my life, he is my enemy!!

Knowing when to speak and when to be silent is part of the training of a good intercessor. When we let God strip those things out of our hearts that need changing, He will share with us the secrets that the kings speak in their chambers and entrust us to intercede for whole nations.

3. Third Principle to Clean heart is: letting Him clean up not only the sins of the heart but also the wounds of the heart. “See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many” (Hebrews 12:15 NIV 1984). Unless we let the Holy Spirit shine His light on all the unforgiveness in our lives, our prayers will be tainted by the wounds of our hearts. We must be willing to let go ALL and allow the light of God to illuminate in us. We have been wounded, you only know your story, and I know mine, and mine seems bigger than yours! We are ALL wounded in one way or another. BUT we cannot allow that woundedness to dictate the rest of our lives, we MUST lay it all at the ALTAR and ask the Lord to heal the deep wounds. Only HE can do this! Only the blood can wash away the wounds! Nothing BUT the blood of Jesus!!!!

We pray that we do not pray Amiss because of what seats in our hearts… let’s take the next 10 minutes and ask God to purge anything in me and in you that is not right with Him. Lord bring into our remembrance the pride and hurts in our hearts that are not from you.

We want to be like the psalmist who cries: “O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. . . . For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O LORD, You know it altogether” (Psalm 139:1–2, 4).

Answer:The Lord spoke this word to her: strategy. The enemy has a strategy for every nation and ministry and his army does not rest from the battle.

I am sure many of us are already aware of that. When things seem to go so well in our lives, suddenly, a major issue appears from nowhere ,and we cannot explain the source.

As we prayed right at the beginning, The Lord gave us this strategy , that we continue to follow until the Holy Spirit says otherwise.We must have a strategy to overcome satans strategy, and we need to follow that strategy. Our God is a God of order and strategy. We look at the creation and the precision it operates, and marvel at the way the creator designed it. The enemy copied this order and follows the same.

As people following our Lord, we must also be strategic and orderly and below was what we received as we waited on Him:

Personal cleansing, we must all be ready to obey the Lord,  We must Stand by the Word, listen to the Holy Spirit.  A warfare can only be won by being well dressed, fully armoured, having the right team on your side, following the commands of your leaders to the word and dying to self for the sake of the mission.We must all position our hearts right with the Lord, no deceit, no unforgiveness, no gossip, only what He says comes from our mouths, no strife, no competition or anything else that glorifies the enemy.

  Psalms 66:18-If I had cherished sin in my heart,the Lord would not have listened.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

We come in a state of humility, as He hates the proud and lifts the humble. We must be teachable as we come in His presence.Repent for our own pride and the pride of our people.

Praise and worship. He dwells in the praises of His people. He comes any time we spend time in thanksgiving, worship and praise. Let’s be comfortable just being in worship. We may come at times and just worship him for 2 hours and go, without any requests… just lifting Him up… and that will be okay. Our Daddy desires the company of His children… not just asking…asking…asking… always. 

Psalm 22:3 But You are holy,O You who are enthroned in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered].

Bringing down all the evil:demolish all principalities, powers and strongholds.

Jeremiah 1:10: “See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” We are not only to tear down; we were also to build and plant.

   Raise , call forth the things we want to see in our nation, using all the strategies God has given us , of repentance, worship, using the name and the Blood of Jesus, Sharing Holy communion together, Binding the enemy and his works and releasing the miracles of God among others. As we wait on the Holy Spirit, He will continue to give us more tools to combat the enemy and raise up altars of worship in our homes and nation.   John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will also do; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

Vs 3 Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen?
Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?’

Vs 6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the [c]heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry?
And that you bring to your house the poor who are [d]cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?

The only authentic fasting is fasting that includes a spiritual attack against our own sin. Whatever else we fast for, we must fast for our own holiness. We cannot fast for anything with authenticity while living in known sin. The only authentic praying is praying that includes an attack against our own sin. The only authentic worship is worship that includes at least an implicit attack against our own sin.

If there’s an unresolved pocket of sin in my life and I am fasting about something else — some blessing, some healing — God’s going to come to me and say, “The fast that I choose is for that sin to be dealt with.

Psalm 139:23-24
23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

“The fast that I choose is not that I religiously make myself hungry and afflicted, BUT that I make the poor less hungry and afflicted.” If we want to fight sin by taking our food away from our own mouth, then we put it in the mouth of the poor. That will be considered fasting for righteousness’ sake as
Vs 8 says
Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’

Lord, we want to be serious with you in this forum. You are reminding us that sin is an abomination to a nation and you do not tolerate it. And so, during this time that we are sincerely on our knees seeking after you, we repent of every sin, sins of corruption, persistent anger, self-righteousness, pride and arrogance, Father forgive us. Forgive this company of saints for taking you for granted, for failure to live in fear and awe of you. Lord forgive us for our thoughts which have not aligned with heaven, for lack of trust, and living in mistrust and in fear of the unknown. Forgive us Lord for the sins of doubt and idolatry. We have worshipped and trusted the God of Money and wealth and Power instead of looking to you, our maker. We are sorry Lord where we have failed to acknowledge that you are the giver of life and all things therein.

When we are living in sin — say the sin of hard-heartedness or deceit or injustice — the fast which God chooses is not a religious covering of this sin, but a direct frontal assault against this sin. And then we will have access to call on God.

As we start our three days of prayers and fasting to close sign off the month of February,we want to reflect on what the Lord gave us in January during our prayers and fasting time.

1.On the three days fasting for repentance I had a voice telling me that KNEELING DOWN IS A GREAT SIGN OF HUMILITY….Psalm 95:6

6 Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;

I took time to read Ezekiel 4:4-8 where God is instructing Ezekiel to put the sins of the house of Israel upon himself by lying down on his left for 390days and 40 days on his right side. God even went to an extent of tying him down so he did not turn the other way round….

God wants us to put the sins of the nation upon ourselves and humble ourselves on our knees in repentance. We should be submissive to let him tie us down on our knees as we repent on behalf of our nation 

It was  impressed on Naomi that it is about humbling at the feet of Jesus!!! Total humility , dying to self and Christ becoming alive in us.

3.Naomi saw a vision of an Ox tied to a cart and it carried so much luggage. The luggage was so heavy and the ox couldn’t bare the burden  anymore and it knelt down. Then  a hand came and took away the heavy luggage and the ox was able to stand and continue.

4.The holy spirit instructed that we pray for the youth as they are filled with anger and bitterness.After praying for the youth  a long time, I had a dream.

In the dream I saw  woman from Akorino sect ( they wear white turbans) and she had a teenage son and as the son was taking a shower, she found out that the son was masturbating.she became very angry and began scolding the young man in kikuyu language.

She told the son ,some of this things you are doing seem to bring you pleasure but they will lead you to  the way of destruction .The mother then came and reported the boy to Naomi  who told the boy “you have to stop this behaviour”. Then the boy asked me,”how can i stop? Where do i start?” Then I asked him “how did you begin masturbating?” He told me he was taught and the dream ended as I was trying to explain that he must work hard to stop….

As Naomi was thinking about this dream in her mind, she was seeing children of believers who have worked hard to teach their children good morals but somehow the devil has managed to corrupt the minds of our children and made them addicts and slaves of sin.Deep inside the hearts of these young people they know its wrong to do whatever they are doing but they don’t know how to save themselves they are trapped in lust and  in all their dirty behaviours.

We must break these cycles in Jesus name!!! Our children’s sins have been paid for at the Cross and the lies from the enemy.. that it is too difficult to change, MUST STOP NOW!!!! In Jesus name!!!! THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF KENYA AND THE NATIONS are the future in this world AND MUST ARISE IN POWER AND FAITH AND BE ALL THE LORD HAS CALLED THEM TO BE!!! WE REFUSE TO REST UNTIL WE SEE OUR CHILDREN  ARISE AND RUN THE RACE SET BEFORE THEM IN FAITH!!!

5.Naomi saw herself preaching though she didn’t see the audience but she remember saying in swahili “SIKU HIZI WAMAMA WANAVAA UCHI?? Lord reveal to us what this means.

6. Loice dreamt being in a meeting and there was going to be a revival for young people. She was there with her daughter. Lord we believe that this revival among our young people is on its way and we repent of every sin that would prevent you pouring your spirit on our young people. Lord forgive us parents where we have not demonstrated your ways to them fully. Forgive our failure to speak about you as we wake and as we go to sleep. Forgive our desire of education and material things for our children above knowing you. Lord do not hold our sins on our young people. Forgive us Lord in Jesus name!!!

We have an emphasis on focus on the gifts of the Holy Spirit especially the Gift of Faith… what size is our God? Do we believe in a small God or an Almighty God!!! The maker of Heaven and earth? Let us walk in the promise whatever we ask in Faith, we receive In Jesus Name!!! We serve a big GOD!!!!

We may perceive it in a negative way, BUT imagine what our Lord Jesus Christ achieved in the desert.Desert isolation is a place of intimacy with God, a time of Privacy and Isolation so that we can hear God clearly. Each one of us will have a desert isolation, at different times and when this takes place, let us embrace the season and grow into HIM, we get deeper in HIM an we become totally consumed with HIS grace and goodness and mercy, and He becomes our ALL IN ALL!!!!!!
